The bandh aims to highlight deteriorating campus safety and push for reform in academic spaces. In addition to condemning the Left student groups’ actions, ABVP is also pressing the state government to cooperate with the central initiative of PM SHRI, which aims to modernize and improve school infrastructure and learning outcomes. ABVP leaders have stated that student voices demanding safe, inclusive, and politically neutral campuses cannot be silenced. The strike is expected to impact academic operations across schools and colleges in Kerala, with protests and rallies scheduled in major districts.
